Day 1: Hanoi – Arrival
Arrival at the Hanoi International Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide and transferred to downtown to check in to your hotel. You will be free for refreshment after a long-haul flight. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi’s Highlights (B)
After breakfast, you will visit Ho Chi Minh memorial complex. The complex is a combination of Ba Dinh spacious square with 240 four-season green grass carpets, the mausoleum where the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh is preserved, his wooden house-on-stilts surrounded by a lush garden and fish pond. Within this complex, is also the One-pillar Pagoda, an old temple built by the Emperor Ly Thai Tong in 11th century. Keep walking from the Square to the Presidential Palace, a big yellow house in French colonial style, with a fountain in the front yard and army protected at the gate, and to the twin lakes of West Lake and Truc Bach Lake. Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest temple in Hanoi, dating back to 1500 years ago. Pass by the Army Museum and Hanoi Flag Tower to see a collection of aircraft and helicopters from the Vietnam-American War.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam, before returning to the bustling Old Quarter for one-hour cyclo ride through its narrow and colorful streets. You will visit Dong Xuan wholesale Market, Ngoc Son temple with the preserved body of the rare Rafetus swinhoei tortoise, Hoan Kiem Lake and its red The Huc bridge. Overnight in Hanoi.

The cruise passes by many rocks and islets in many funny shapes. The cruise may stop for a while for visiting one of the best caves on the bay. Day 4: Ha Long Bay – Lan Ha Bay – Sea Kayaking (B/L/D/Local guide on boat)
Breakfast buffet will be served in the restaurant on board and you will be transferred to a day-boat, soon heading to Lan Ha Bay which is at the furthest side of Ha Long Bay. This bay is famous for its tunnels, lagoons, crystal waters and secluded beaches. The highlight of this day will be kayaking through spectacular tunnels to reach a secret lagoon (if tides permit). First kayak stroll of the day. Follow your tour guide in the maze of karst rocks.
Fresh seafood and traditional Vietnamese cuisine will be served aboard the Junk. She will be anchored close to a beautiful beach, where you will have time to swim and enjoy the beach after lunch. Relax on the beach and practice more kayaking. You will also have the opportunity to visit a temple and a floating fish farm.
Late afternoon, back on your overnight boat for optional spa and massage services, happy hour, scrumptious dinner and overnight stay, anchored in a peaceful bay.
Day 5: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – Hue (Brunch) – Flight: VN1545 – 1730/1840
Breakfast is served while the Junk cruises around Ha Long Bay, passing by many islets named by their shapes such as Dog, Incense Urn, Fighting Cock, Finger, etc. Stop for a while to explore Surprise Cave - one of the most beautiful caves of the bay. The Junk then continues cruising towards the wharf. Ready to disembark about 10:30am. Drive back to Hanoi and then straight to the airport for a flight to Hue. Upon arrival, you’re welcomed by our guide and check in to your hotel. Overnight in Hue.

Day 6: Hue – City tour (B)
Hue is the last imperial capital of Vietnam. It’s well-known for magnificent architecture, pagodas and royal tombs laid in small villages and surrounding hills.
In the morning, you will visit the Imperial Citadel of Hue, Minh Mang King’s Tomb (typical formal oriental style), and Thien Mu Pagoda that is Hue’s best-preserved religious monument. It is a historic pagoda with its seven-story tower on the banks of the Perfume River, apart from their scenic riverside and hilltop location.
In the afternoon we will visit the elaborate mausoleums of Emperors Tu Duc, and later take a boat cruise on the Huong River where you can admire the sunset. Overnight in Hue.
Day 7: Hue – Hoi An (B)
Today we will heading to Hoi An through Hai Van pass, and to Lang Co beach – one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam. Visit Cham museum on the way, the open air collection of Cham sculpture. Many of the sandstone carvings are breathtaking. After check-in at your hotel, you have a walking tour to visit the Ancient Hoi An town: The Japanese covered bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, and some typical Vietnamese houses of 18th century. Day 8: Hoi An free (B)
A free day in Hoi An to do whatever takes your fancy!
Hoi An has many things to offer. You can easily walk around streets, sundown at old-style coffee shops and see at the daily life of local people, or taste local street food. Or you can take a bike and ride to its surrounding villages, stop at a local family to learn how to be a farmer by working on the field with local people, cultivate herbal or water rice, harvest, dry rice and make some kinds of cake from rice flour. A 45-minute drive will take you to My Son Sanctuary, a Cham ruins complex nestled in a small valley 40km from Hoi An town. Cooking class of Hoi An cuisine is also an interesting activity, attracting many travelers. You can choose a half day cooking class with a market visit and boat trip, or market visit and bicycle ride to local village and duck farm.

Day 9: Hoi An - Ho Chi Minh City – City tour (B) – Flight: VN115 – 0940/1105
After breakfast, you will board a morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, you will follow your guide to visit the moving War Remnants Museum which presents a partial, but riveting, view of the American War, as it is known in Vietnam. Continue to the Reunification Palace, former residence of the Indochina Governor General and later President of the Republic of Southern Vietnam until the fall of Saigon in April 30, 1975. The day ends with visits to the charming Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Post Office, one of the oldest buildings Ho Chi Minh City built around 1886-1891, the elegant Saigon Opera House and the bustling Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City – Ben Tre – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
After breakfast, you will take a 2 hour pleasant drive to Ben Tre province. Upon arrival, ride a motorized boat on Ben Tre River – one of the tributaries of the Mekong river while sight-seeing lively activities along the river such as fishing and boats transferring fruits, flowers and rice to local markets. Our first stop is at a brick kiln to see how to make bricks traditionally by printing and baking. Those brick kilns are opened in summer time only when there is enough sunshine to dry bricks. Continue to visit one coconut processing workshop located along the canals. Return to the boat and go through natural scissors creeks to a village and see some local houses, the making of sleeping mats, and enjoy some local fruits.
Take a Tuk-Tuk (motorized cart) or bicycle on shady paths, pass by green rice fields and vegetable plains to be able to touch on real life and find out about tropical culture from peasants. Have lunch at a local riverside restaurant.
After lunch, we take a rowing-boat along beautiful water palm creek before meeting the motorized boat and transferring you back to the pier. Our driver will be there to take you back to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2: Angkor Complex with most beautiful temples (B)
After breakfast, start a very special and busy day as you will explore some of Angkor’s most beautiful temples. You will visit Angkor Thom from its West Gate – less discovered by mass tourists. The complex is inclusive of the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century), the South Gate, Bayon Temple - unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, Baphuon Temple: lying just to the north of Bayon, a pyramidal representation of mythical Mont Meru, The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, The Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
We continue to visit the fabulous Ta Prohm embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers. Ta Prohm was built in the 12th century. It’s a Buddhist temple dedicated to the mother of King Jayavarman VII.
Next, visit Banteay Kdei, located south of Ta Promh and was built in middle of the 12th century to the beginning of the 13th century by king Jayavarman II in Mahaya Buddhism with following at least two different art periods Angkor Wat and Bayon are discernible at Banteay Kdei.
After lunch time, visit the famous temple: Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology.
Late afternoon, hike up to Pre Rup temple for sunset. This temple is known as the best place for sunset in Angkor complex. Your evening is free for a foot massage or shopping at the Angkor Night Market. Overnight in Siem Reap.

After breakfast, you will travel out of the town to Tonle Sap lake, the biggest fresh water lake in the Southeast Asia. Take a cruise on Tonle Sap Lake for 1 hour, visit a floating village and experiencing the fisherman’s life. Then back to visit Chantie Ecole-Artisan D’Angkor which was created in 1998 for the purpose of helping young rural people find work near their home village and revitalizing Cambodian handicrafts. Nearby is the Old Market where you can find anything from clothing, jewelry, spices, souvenirs, food, and even rat-traps.

After breakfast, you will be free in Siem Reap until meet our driver for a short transferred to the airport in a good time to connect to your flight to home or to your next destination!

Day 2: Luang Prabang – City tour (B)
There is a very special dawn ceremony that you must see - monks collecting the alms. As the sun begins to rise, long lines of orange-robed monks leave their pagodas and walk on barefoot down the streets collecting offerings from Luang Prabang residents. It is a beautiful, serene ceremony that highlights the spiritualism of the Laos people.
Return to your hotel for breakfast and then we visit the National Museum at the former Royal Palace, which displays a precious collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign, and the Morning Market where you can find all kinds of ingredients for Lao cuisine. Continue our city tour with the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun, the shrine of Wat Aham and Wat Mai.
In the afternoon, we visit the oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, representing the classic architecture of Luang Prabang temples. Then we climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. From there, we explore the Street Night Bazaar, where you can find the lovely collection of handmade textiles by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 3: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Cave (B)
After breakfast, we take an excursion by boat upstream on the Mekong river to visit Pak Ou cave nested inside a limestone cliff and overlooking the mouth of the Mekong and Ou rivers. The sanctuaries at Pak Ou consist of two large caves, both repositories for thousands of Buddha images, which range from mere centimeter to two meters in height. En route, Lao typical villages are barely visible behind a screen of foliage. Slender canoes bobbing by the shore, bamboo poles and floats mark the location of nets and fish traps. Our first stop will be at Ban Xang Khai, a well-known village for Lao traditional rice whisky, namely Lao-Khao, to be distilled. We are welcome to taste the wine or buy some to "cheers" with friends at home.
Back to Luang Prabang by noon time and the remainder of the day is free to chill out by the pool at your hotel or walk to the Mekong River for sunset. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 4: Luang Prabang – Departure (B/Driver drop-off/no guide)
After breakfast, you will be free in Luang Prabang to visit more ancient temples on foot, or relax at a coffee shop by the Mekong river bank, or unwind with Lao Massage before being driven to the airport for your departure flight. Goodbye to Laos!
After breakfast, we take an excursion by boat upstream on the Mekong river to visit Pak Ou cave nested inside a limestone cliff and overlooking the mouth of the Mekong and Ou rivers. The sanctuaries at Pak Ou consist of two large caves, both repositories for thousands of Buddha images, which range from mere centimeter to two meters in height. En route, Lao typical villages are barely visible behind a screen of foliage. Slender canoes bobbing by the shore, bamboo poles and floats mark the location of nets and fish traps. Our first stop will be at Ban Xang Khai, a well-known village for Lao traditional rice whisky, namely Lao-Khao, to be distilled. We are welcome to taste the wine or buy some to "cheers" with friends at home.
Back to Luang Prabang by noon time and the remainder of the day is free to chill out by the pool at your hotel or walk to the Mekong River for sunset. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 4: Luang Prabang – Departure (B/Driver drop-off/no guide)
After breakfast, you will be free in Luang Prabang to visit more ancient temples on foot, or relax at a coffee shop by the Mekong river bank, or unwind with Lao Massage before being driven to the airport for your departure flight. Goodbye to Laos!
