Thailand and its southern part host the best beaches in the world with amazing silky white-sand strips, blue water and brightest sunshine. Koh Phi Phi is considered by many of our clients to be the ultimate tropical getaway, featuring stunningly beautiful bays and beaches. This itinerary is also inclusive of experiencing Thailand’s highlights: Bangkok and its golden temples, famous Damsan Saduak floating market, Golden Triangle in Chiang Rai and Elephant ride in Chiang Mai.

Day 1: Bangkok - Arrival
Upon arrival in Bangkok, you will be welcomed by our guide and transferred to your hotel in the city. Be free for refreshment after a long-haul flight. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 2: Bangkok’s highlights (B/L)
Breakfast at your hotel, and we have an early start first visit. We will visit the most extraordinary Buddhist temples in Bangkok: Wat Trimitr with its invaluable Golden Buddha (5 ½ tons of solid gold) and the Wat Po, the most extensive temple in Bangkok, with its colossal Reclining Buddha and the Chedis of the Kings. After, we will visit the Grand Palace that is one of the most beautiful samples of an ancient Siamese court. It was used as the residence of the Kings of Thailand and you will be able to see palaces which were used for different occasions: the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House, and the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple. These temples are popular and busy, so visiting early is recommended.

Next, cross the Chao Phraya River to enjoy your lunch sample the spices and flavors of Thai cuisine. After lunch, continue to visit Thonburi Klong; Thonburi is the western part of Bangkok, situated on the right side of the Chao Phya River. Its many canals had originally given Bangkok the name “Venice of the East.”
Passing by boat along the canals gives you a first-hand impression of the scenic life along Bangkok’s waterways. Guests have the opportunity to stop at the Angkor-style Wat Arun, the 'Temple of Dawn also the trip passes the Royal Barges
Discover the sophisticated flavors of Bangkok's 200-year-old Chinatown district, filled with rich ethnic tradition and delicious food. During the tour you will walk to explore and taste local cuisines from famous eateries, varying from street food vendors to renowned fine dining restaurants. You'll enjoy delicious charcoal grilled seafood from one of these street stalls. Between each tasting location, you will be given a closer look at this unique neighborhood. Meet the food bazaar's lively characters, hear its memorable stories, and visit religious and cultural landmarks as you explore the district. There’s only a few places in Bangkok that match its level of energy and vibrancy. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 3: Bangkok – Damsan Saduak floating market & Sampan Riverside – Chiang Rai by flight (B/L)
In the early morning, depart to Damnern Saduak floating market. By long tail boat, we row along greenery canals, where you visit the colorful Floating Market with women vendors, who still can be seen paddling their boats loaded with all kinds of fruits and vegetables. Continue to Nakorn Phathom where you visit the tallest Buddhist monument, "Chedi", in the world 120m in height. After that, we go to the Sampran Riverside where you take a walk in the manicured garden. Lunch in the Sampran Riverside. Afterwards, we join a show of culture with traditional Thai dancing, ancient sword fighting and a Thai wedding. Around 17.00h you will be back in Bangkok and direct to the Airport for a short flight to Chiang Rai. Upon arrival, our guide will welcome you and take you to the hotel in the heart of the city. Overnight in Chiang Rai.
Day 4: Chiang Rai’s highlights (B/L)
After breakfast, we will visit this northeastern part of Thailand. The places we visit today include Yao & Akha Village, White Temple, Mae Sai, Golden Triangle (where the border of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet), Opium Museum, Chiang Saen, and Monkey Cave before going to the farthest northern town on the Thai-Myanmar border. Have lunch with Thai cuisine at a local restaurant. Chiang Saen (A.D.1260) is located on the steep banks of the Mekong River. You will discover some magnificent ruins, ancient temples in this place before returning to the hotel. Overnight in Chiang Rai.
Day 5: Chiang Rai – Chiang Mai by car (B)
After breakfast, we will drive to Chiang Mai by road approx 3 hours via Wiang Pa Pao district. We will stop along the way for resting and photos. We will visit Wat Rong Khun (can only be seen from outside due to earthquake) an amazing place showing the talents of a sculptor that created this place. You will see the carved bare statues, the fantastic stained glass and mosaic tile and magnificent paintings in the chapel. We will arrive in the hotel in the afternoon, and the rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 6: Chiang Mai - Visiting Elephant Camp (B)
After breakfast, meet our guide and take a private transfer to the Chiang Dao Young Elephants Training Camp, 56 Km away, to first watch the elephants taking their morning bath in the running stream before starting their day’s training and work. See the demonstration of elephants at work. Then follow an exhilarating elephant trek through the neighboring jungle, past bamboo and hanging creepers (1 Elephant: 2 pax). Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 7: Chiang Mai - Bangkok – Phuket by flight (B)
In the morning, you will be free at your hotel until the time to be picked up for your flight to Phuket. Upon arrival, our driver will meet you at the airport and drive you to your hotel. Overnight in Phuket.
Day 8: Phuket – Koh Phi Phi by ferry (B)
At your leisure today in this beach resort town until it is time to be picked up (by a driver, no guide) for your short drive to the harbor. You will take a joint ferry to the island of Ko Phi Phi.
Enjoy Ko Phi Phi for the first night! Overnight in Ko Phi Phi.
Day 9 to day 11: Koh Phi Phi – Free (B)
Three days at leisure in Koh Phi Phi Island! Explore the island by yourself or book a short excursion to Monkey island on spot! Overnight in Koh Phi Phi.
Day 12: Koh Phi Phi – Phuket - Bangkok – Departure (B)
Breakfast at your hotel and then take a long-tail boat from your resort to Tonsai pier and board a ferry back to Phuket. Arrive in Phuket Pier, meet our driver for a private transfer to Phuket Airport. You will travel back to Bangkok by flight in a good time to connect to your departure flight.
Remark: Your departure flight should be at night. If not, we will book for you an airport hotel and you will fly home the next day.
