You don’t need to be a professional photographer.  Suitable for beginners, enthusiasts, and advanced photographers alike.  Just bring your inner passion!
Little Vietnam Tours is pleased to offer the best guided photo tours with the award winning and well known Vietnamese photography instructor, Ho Vu.  You’ll not only spend 10 days visiting the highlights of Vietnam, but see the country from a slightly different perspective, practicing and honing your skills on capturing life, humanity, and the unique and inspiring natural beauty of Vietnam.

The focus of the tour is on giving you countless unique opportunities to capture life and nature across the whole of Vietnam, with pre-photo guidance and post-photo feedback from one of Vietnam's leading photographers.   We offer private group photo tours, or join an existing tour on select dates.

When you choose to plan your vacation with us, we make all of the arrangements for your travel within Vietnam, your accommodations, and meals specified in the itinerary during your private tour, as well as provide the services of an experienced local English-speaking guide on touring days.  We make sure your journey is seamless, and stay in communication with you anticipating any weather or other issues should they arise.

​​Your Leader and Instructor, Ho Vu:
Ho Vu has contributed greatly to the development of photography in Ho Chi Minh City. Currently, Vu is a photography and news photo instructor at VOV college, a teacher at CIA (Canon Image Academy) and other photo clubs, as well as the director of the Newspaper and Communication Consulting and Training Center in Ho Chi Minh City.

  • Judged at many photo competitions at VOV College and the Canon Photo Marathon 2015
  • Participates regularly in professional photo workshops to continually improve his skills
  • Leads photo trips for Vietnam’s Canon Club, Fun photo club, VOV College, and Lens of Vietnam Group

​What to Prepare and Bring:
Equipment:
  • Fully charged camera, bring an extra battery of the same type, and your camera charger
  • At least two memory cards, and card reader, compatible with the type of card in use
  • Your tripod for scenery when it's dark (sunrise, sunset, night exposure)
  • Clean camera and lens to ensure the best and most beautiful images
  • Lens/sensor cleaning materials for if/when it's needed
  • Vietnam's electricity is 220v in most places, and plugs accept the two round plugs, common in Europe.  US visitors with flat prongs will need to bring plug adapters.
 
Clothes and personal things:
  • Long pants and mosquito repellent to prevent mosquito bites in the Mekong Delta
  • Soft and comfortable t-shirts, preferably cotton, wicking or quick-dry material
  • Windbreaker jacket and wide brimmed hat, sunblock cream, sunglasses
  • When exploring the scenery of rice fields or canals, it will be easy to get your clothes wet.  Keep this in mind to bring enough clothes for the whole trip.  Laundry services are usually not available.
  • Bring some common medicine such as allergy medicine, cold medicine, cough drops, pain reliever, diarrhea drugs, etc
  • Fully charge your cell/mobile/hand phone to contact with your teacher and guide if you get lost.  Battery chargers (stand alone) are useful.  Arrange for an international voice/data plan if you can.
  • Pack neatly to avoid loss of your belongs during the trip

  • All meals are included at local restaurant with local food specialties, 01 free flow drinks on boat in Ha Long bay and 01 buffet farewell dinner on day 10 (shared)
